How To Achieve Your Dream Body Without Suffering

By March 21, 2015November 22nd, 201813 Comments

Every time we think about losing weight and getting in shape, we think that we must suffer, sacrifice, and go hungry. This is simply NOT TRUE. We don’t need crazy diets and long workouts to lose weight and get in shape.

Remember these simple tips and you will be on the path to a beautiful and healthy body.

  1. Workouts should be fun, otherwise you will avoid them.
  2. Have patience. Results take time. Extra weight appears slowly, over time, so we should not expect it to disappear overnight.
  3. Don’t let the scale stress you out. You will be building muscle and losing fat. Pay attention to how you feel, how your body looks, and how your clothes fit.
  4. Get good sleep. Sleep is essential to health, weight loss, and stress management.
  5. Do not drink soda. It is loaded with calories and toxic chemicals.
  6. Drink plenty of water. Add a slice of lemon, lime, strawberry, or cucumber to your water to transform it into a delicious and healthy beverage!
  7. Try not to eat in front of television or computer. People tend to eat more while staring at a screen.
  8. Brush your teeth after dinner. This will help to avoid the temptation of late night snacking.
  9. Reduce sugar consumption. The modern human consumes far too much sugar.
  10. Eat good food. Avoid junk food. Eat plenty of raw vegetables, as they are essential to health, metabolism, and weight loss.

A positive attitude is the key to success. You may slip here and there on your journey, and that’s okay. Don’t get discouraged by setbacks. Pick up where you left off and move forward. The most important thing is that you are doing it!

Remember: “The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”. (Lao Tzu)

      Hello Niketha,

Congratulations on your decision to take control of your health!

It is great that you started working out! You said that you do LRFit workouts 7 days a week. Please do not overdo it. It is important to give your body breaks so that it can recover. I recommend 4 days of exercise and 3 days of rest per week.

      For example:
      Monday – 5.5 Minute Workout
      Tuesday – 5.5 Minute Workout
      Wednesday – Rest
      Thursday – 5.5 Minute Workout
      Friday – 5.5 Minute Workout
      Saturday – Rest
      Sunday – Rest

I lost 30 lbs (13.6 kg) in 3 months by doing LRFit workouts and eating healthy. You can easily lose 5-10 lbs (2-4.5kg) a month if you stick to the exercise program and eat healthy. Clean diet is very important for weight loss and muscle gain.

      The main points are:
      1. Avoid junk food and soft drinks.
      2. Eat raw veggies with every meal.
      3. Drink plenty of water.
      4. Reduce sugar consumption.

You will benefit from incorporating green juices, green smoothies and lots of vegetables into your diet. Try this for a week: start your day with a glass of green juice or smoothie, then have breakfast. For lunch, eat a big veggie salad plus protein (chicken, fish, egg, etc.). For dinner, eat a big veggie salad. And of course do LRFit workouts 4 times a week! This will really speed up your weight loss.

Please let me know if you have any more questions! I am happy to help 🙂

Congratulations on losing your first 2 kg! I am so happy for you! It is great that you are determined not to stop until you reach your goal! This is the attitude that is going to help you succeed!

Eating rice in moderation is ok. I love black rice. It is delicious, and high in nutritional value and is a source of iron, vitamin E, and antioxidants.

Your father is right! Hot water is particularly beneficial for digestion. Studies have shown that drinking cold water during or after a meal can harden the oil present in the consumed foods. This can create a fat deposit on the inner wall of your intestine. However, if you replace the glass of cold water with hot, you can avoid this problem. In addition, hot water is beneficial to digestion, which is what you want after a meal. Additionally, hot water is great for maintaining a healthy metabolism. The best way to do this is to kick start your metabolism early in the morning with a glass of hot water and lemon. As an added bonus, hot water will help to break down the body fat in your body.

Green tea is great! It is loaded with antioxidants and nutrients that have powerful effects on the body. This includes improved brain function, fat loss, a lower risk of cancer and many other incredible benefits.

Niketha, I am very excited that you chose LRFit workouts to be a part of your weight loss journey! Don’t forget to take your “before” picture. You will be very happy to compare your “before” and “after” pictures once you reach your goal 🙂

Please let me know if you have any more questions! And keep me updated! 🙂

    • Svetlana says:

      Hello Niketha,

I am so sad to hear that you didn’t achieve the results you wanted. Please do not feel bad! It is great that you kept up with exercising for 3 months! Even though you didn’t lose weight you wanted, I bet that you became much stronger!
Please do not stop exercising. Exercise is very beneficial for your body, your heath and overall well being. Usually, when a person follows an exercise routine but can not lose weight, we are taking a closer look at the diet.

I highly recommend to watch these movies/documentaries: “Hungry For a Change”, “Food Matters”,”Forks Over Knives”, “Simply Raw”, and “Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead”. These movies will give you a lot of useful information about food, diet, health, weight loss, etc. They are very motivational as well. Thousands of people lost tremendous amount of weight and became healthier and happier after being inspired by these movies and changing their diets. They give a lot of great tips and information. Please check them out. These movies helped me a lot.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with. I understand that you feel frustrated now, but please don’t give up! Losing weight is definitely not easy, but remember that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step!
